Conference history

The series of HPLC Symposia on High-Performance Liquid Phase Separations started in 1973 in Interlaken, Switzerland and is an annual event alternating between North America and Europe, with additional meetings in Asia. This international meeting is interdisciplinary in nature and brings together many of the world§$s leading authorities as well as practitioners to discuss the latest advances related to all aspects of liquid phase separation techniques. The HPLC meetings represent an international forum for the discussion and presentation of high-performance liquid chromatography, electrophoresis, electrochromatography, field-flow fractionation, supercritical fluid chromatography and their hyphenation to other separation techniques or spectroscopic methods, including mass spectrometry, nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy. In addition, microfluidics, chip technologies, as well as all practical and economic issues of separation science are addressed.
