Short courses at HPLC 2009
Short courses represent an essential part of the educational program of HPLC 2009. They serve to introduce newcomers to a specific topic into the basics and state of the art of modern analytical and separation technologies. For more experienced separation scientists, the short courses are intended to refresh their knowledge and get informed about the newest developments in the field in terms of technology, instrumentation, and applications. Moreover, the short courses give the unique opportunity to meet and discuss with the real experts and probably stay in contact with them for solving own separation problems. The Scientific and Organizing Committees of HPLC 2009 have taken all efforts to invite competent instructors both from academia and industry to present hot topics and state of the art methodologies of separation science. The topics of the short courses at HPLC 2009 are:
- SC 1: Principles and Applications of LC-MS
- SC 2: Recent Developments in Pharmaceutical Analysis
- SC 3: HPLC Method Development and Optimization
- SC 4: Current Trends in Liquid Chromatography: Understanding the Theory behind the Practice
- SC 5: Supercritical Fluid Chromatography and Green Chemistry in the Pharmaceutical Industry
- SC 6: Setting-up and Optimization of Multidimensional Separations
- SC 7: Sample Preparation for Bioanalytical LC-MS
- SC 8: Principles and Applications of Ion Chromatography
All short courses are parallel sessions and scheduled on Sunday, June 28, from 12:00 to 16:30 in the International Congress Center, Dresden. Please register for the short courses by choosing one short course only.
